Admission Arrangements for Pupils with SEN or Disabilities

Saint Nathaniel’s Academy is an inclusive school, welcoming children from all backgrounds and abilities. Normal admission arrangements will be followed for pupils with SEN or disabilities (where an EHCP is not in place).

The admission of pupils with an Education Health Care Plan are dealt with by a separate procedure by the Local Authority. These children will be admitted to the Academy if our school is named on the EHCP. This is a statutory entitlement under S.324 of the Education Act 1996.
